Cynthia Gallagher is two-time recipient of grants from the NEA and The New York State Council for the Arts. Her paintings, prints and drawings are in private, corporate and museum collections to include- The Metropolitan Museum of Art NYC, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC and The Whitney Museum of American Art, NYC. Ms. Gallagher has exhibited her work in New York City, in the U.S. and internationally in Sweden, France and Venezuela. She held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology and lives in Queens New York.
